Women taking part in the Generations Study are asked to fill in a detailed questionnaires over time to collect information about lifestyle, reproductive and environmental factors that might affect their risk of breast cancer. When they enrolled in the study they were also asked to give a blood sample. Because the purpose of the study is to assess breast cancer risks over the long term, the study is keeping in touch in the future with the women taking part.
